Every year these beautiful daffodils pop up in the front of my house!!! It is wonderful to have a sign of spring to decorate the yard. However, right after they bloom it always snows/freezes and kills them!! So this year I went out and cut them down so they could be wonderful and happy in the house while it snows and melts, blows and snows :-0 If I can't have spring outside here in Laramie, WY.... I will have it inside!
I have also started a lot of my seeds inside this year so I can curb my desire to start gardening until June.
The kids on the other hand don't mind the wind and snow. They have played outside everyday snow or shine... so to them it is spring!
