On the first day of spring I finally finished knitting Gav's hat so I gave him a "first day of spring" present. In most places a hat is not needed when spring begins, however a hat is a perfect gift for spring in WY. It is the worst weather of the season, especially because you think and wish and expect it to be nice. Instead the wind and blizzards begin!

Hi Denise! this post made me laugh!! we were in Laramie just for the Easter wknd (Sorry, I would've called, but we haven't seen my parents since Thanksgiving and a wknd isn't enough time) and my kids thought it was hilarious that their eggs stood out in ALL THAT SNOW!! too funny that you gave Gavin a hat for the first day of spring! it's much needed!
