She is a wonderful house guest - not picky, not high maintenance, and very helpful:) She started by untangling all my knitting projects, which somehow got all tangled in my knitting bag, thanks to little hands that want to knit.
I have been waiting a lot of years to get some knitting time with her, basically since I taught myself to knit. Too bad she wasn't the one to teach me resulting in me knitting completely different than her. It was great because she helped me understand some knitting skills that I was lacking. I have only been making hats for the past five years, I now feel confident that I can finish Gav's sweater vest I started:)
Gavin took to her quickly and wanted to stay home with her a few times when I went running around town. They became buddies fast and she was really fun for him to have around.
Dash liked to look at her and point, play peek-a-boo with her, and started to say "Nana"! After she left he would look around the house for her and said "Nana" as he pointed to the room she stayed in.
Brock now has shirts to wear to work:) So helpful since I never get to my ironing!
It was such a great time getting to know her better and hope that she can come visit again, however it is probably time for us to visit her next:)
