he followed the instructions and built this all by himself

silly faces

more rappelling -- this time Gav did it all by himself!!

Dashel tried to rappel, but got scared and decided not to do it.
He only wanted to do it because Gavin did it.
When he backed away from the edge of the cliff he said, "I have a heart beat!"
He could feel his heart beat from the adrenaline.

nostalgic rides on carousel horses
2007 ~ Gavin 16 months

still small enough to ride and enjoy

Brock completed the Enduro (70 mile mountain bike race) in 8:17 minutes!
Way to go Brock!
Big improvement on time!
I have been spending a lot of time in the yard and garden.
We have already had zucchini, strawberries, greenbeans, and lettuce.
I battled a bunny and after a month won!
Probably will not have beets and broccoli as those seem to be the choice food for the little guy.
We still see him around the neighborhood, which makes the kids feel better about the exile.

I built a new water feature by the flowerbed
Dashel learned his smile from Pistol Pete.... but it looks like he is making funny faces.
backyard golf

golf lessons for Gavin

tball

running in the yard

snorkeling with Grandpa

We have spent many of our days at the pool.
Dashel took swimming lessons from Gavin and is well on his way to swimming!
Lessons this fall.

One month of summer left:[  How does it go by so fast??
