A stop in KS

On our road trip to Arkansas we stopped in Wakeeney, KS to visit Brock's dad and uncle on the Faulkner Family Farm.  The boys loved the open spaces, four wheelers, and cow pies.
I loved hearing the Faulkner family history and seeing where it all began in 1870 when Hugh
Faulkner came by wagon and stopped in Kansas and built a house with his wife Mary Ann Maguire.
There homesteading and giving life to Leo Faulkner,
who married his neighbor, Mable Harger, then giving life to Leo Phillip Faulkner [pictured above],
who then married Cecyle Fanning and giving life to Brock Leo Faulkner,
who then married Denise Matheson and giving life to Gavin Faulkner and Dashel Faulkner.
For some reason I am fascinated with that farm house that resulted in my two little Faulkner boys.
Anyway we had a nice time visiting all the Faulkner family.

will it bite me?  how many teeth does it have?  does it see me as friend or foe?

the first house built in 1870 was taken out by a KS tornado
I loved daydreaming of Mary Ann Faulkners life there. She gave birth there and raised Brock's grandpa.  I wondered how they ate, kept warm, played, learned, loved, worked, and lived.  Seeing the house and property just made it so real to me.
