Dashie is already a month old -- it doesn't seem it to me! He loves to sleep and sleeps most of the time -- he usually sleeps for about 6 hrs at night then 3 then 2. I feel lucky that he is such a good sleeper. He loves to be held while he sleeps the most, but will sleep in the co-sleeper really well. This time around I'm trying to keep him out of our bed unless we are feeding just because we have no room in the bed to sleep comfortably. We slept with Gav for over a year and Brock and I both suffered when it came to space and probably good rest.
When Dashie is awake he is a bit crabby so it is good that he sleeps so much! He is starting to smile just a little bit while interacting with us which just melts my heart. I didn't think that I would be able to love again like I did with Gav, but I was so wrong - it is easy!! Gavin loves his little brother so much that he really can't keep his hands off of his head -- Dashie is now losing hair on the top of his head and I think part of it is because of Gavin rubbing it so hard all the time!
Having two has been a challenge I will admit, but I just am getting use to it. I'm back at locking the keys in the car, but not with the kids in it yet. I swear that it is the breast feeding that makes me do it. We have had blow-outs with no extra clothes or diapers. Gavin and I seem to be fighting a lot, but it is me not him that is causing it. I have a long way to come before I have mastered the skill of having two. But time and a few books will hopefully help me manage -- I have hope!!

Yes, nursing definitely (and having kids in general) will make you lock your keys in the car. In fact, I did it with Hayden in the car, when we were in Laramie for a visit in September. Not my finest moment as a mother. Glad to hear it happens to other mothers. :)

You look great Denise! Hope all is well. xoxo
