But for me it has caused a hair dilemma: okay so while unsupervised in the bathroom Gavin cut his own hair, right in the middle of his bangs. I have tried to cover it up by making sure that his hair basically combs it over. But most of the time it ends up splitting right down the middle and the missing chunk is revealed. I so badly want to buzz it so that it will all be the same length, because the split really bugs me. However I'm having a hard time parting with his long blond look. Plus, if I buzz it, it will be pretty dark. So do I deal with the split? Or part with his long blond locks?
I think I might just follow through with my words and wait until he cuts it again. That is the punishment I warned for another snip at his own hair -- a buzz cut.

This reminds me of Skyla, who cut a large chunk out of her bangs. It couldn't be covered up! I also remember that, as a child, I tried to cut my bangs, and ended up with them being really, really short. I felted really embarrassed by my short bangs, and never did it again.
Its a kid thing :) Cali also gave herself a haircut a few weeks ago, although it was on the side so it wasn't too noticeable. Kids! I say leave it, his locks are beautiful! Hope you are well! We are adjusting well with the new baby.
